European Union will make a list of countries that will be banned from making cryptocurrency transactions

High risk countries won’t be able to perform operations with cryptocurrencies. Such a statement was made by Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis. The EU is going to introduce new rules for bitcoin exchanges and providers till June.

Regulation of virtual payments and anonymous prepaid cards will be strengthened.

European Commission will be in charge of tracking and making decisions on digital transactions from a number of countries. The list of these countries will be ready till June.

Tightening of standards should lead to elimination of anonymity that is typical for platforms. A number of rules are being considered at the suit of Francois Hollande, French president, after terroristic attacks in the capital of France.
