French bus operator has started accepting bitcoins

French bus operator Isilines has announced that it is going to start to accept bitcoin payments.

This is the first passenger transportation company in the world to accept cryptocurrency.

To pay for a ticket with bitcoins, one should select a corresponding option during the online order.

The CEO of Transdev France Group (owner of the operator) stated that the company follows innovative technologies.

Isilines is a low-cost transportation company with routes virtually around the whole territory of France.
