Hyperledger has developed a platform for corporate blockchain

Blockchain consortium Hyperledger has presented a modular platform to build distributed ledgers, based on the Proof-Of-Elapsed-Time (PoET) algorithm.

The platform was called Sawtooth. It is the first release version of the software. Over 50 software engineers were working on its creation.

The platform is intended for on-chain governance, which relies on smart contracts, offering to decide on the access rights to the electronic ledger.

Hyperledger Sawtooth uses the advanced transaction execution mechanism, allowing to speed up transaction processing.

Despite the fact that Sawtooth blockchain offers restricted access, developers encourage the implementation of basic features of open networks.

Such well-known companies as Huawei, IBM, Microsoft Azure, and T-Mobile deploy Sawtooth to upgrade their software.
