Europe’s largest food delivery service accepts bitcoins

The Continent’s largest food delivery service Takeaway has announced the support of bitcoins as a payment method, reports CryptoCoinsNews.

Bitcoin integration was included into the plans to update the German website (lieferando.com). Cryptocurrency payments will be available for citizens of the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, German, and France. Besides, the function will be accessible only through the desktop version of the website. Mobile users will obtain the opportunity later.

BitPay processor will power bitcoin payments. Bitcoin icon is already on the list of available traditional payment options: PayPal, cash, bank card, etc.

Takeaway has become one of the world’s largest food delivery services. In September of 2016, during the first IPO with market capitalization of $1.1 billion, it managed to raise $328 million.
