Bitfinex exchange has blocked all operations due to detected security problems. It was reported that BTC tokens were stolen from several users.
Bitfinex is conducting an internal investigation and has informed the police about theft. The exchange administration reports that only bitcoin wallets were affected by the attack, other cryptocurrencies were not affected.
After the investigation, the stock will decide how to pay the damages to users. Notification about resumption of operations will be published on Bitfinex website.
Exchange issues reduced BTC price: in the morning of August 3, one token price was around 570 dollars.
