Poland's Digital Ministry has backed self-regulation of the local blockchain industry, CoinDesk reports.
On March 29, the representatives of ministries and financial watchdogs has adopted in important document, aimed at establishing cooperation of polish cryptocurrency companies and enterprises that apply the blockchain system. Shutdown of the local Bitcurex exchange has shown that the industry requires such regulation.
The document has a number of solutions, aimed at earning confidence, increasing transparency and reducing risks for all market participants.
In fact, it consists of the best practices of the leading foreign organizations.
The document was developed as part of the polish government program aimed at digitalization of many of governmental operations.
