Regulation of the cryptocurrency market will contribute to the development of the industry and growth of the bitcoin price. This is an opinion expressed by the founders of the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in an interview with Bloomberg.
They believe that cryptocurrency market needs universal rules, so there is no need to beware of the regulation.
According to Tyler Winklevoss, the creation of regulatory and legal conditions for cryptocurrency functioning will enable integrating it into the financial sphere.
At the same time, Tyler believes that regulators are not rushing to develop norms for legal market operators. In addition, measures for protecting investors from fraud in the market, especially ICO, should be stricter.
He stressed that there is already a tendency of cryptocurrency rates growing due to the appearance of regulated instruments.
Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss hold the fourth position in the Forbes rating of the richest people in the cryptocurrency world. Their joint assets cost over $2 billion.
