Standards Australia will lead work on blockchain technology standards

Standards Australia will lead the Technical Committee for the Development of Blockchain Solution Common Standards.

Such a decision was adopted by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the institute responsible for the development of common standards worldwide.

According to Bronwyn Evans, CEO of Standards Australia, representatives of more than three dozen countries will become members of the newly established committee.

It was this spring that the organization started talking about the necessity to develop standards. Even at that time, there was talk not of the concept but of the almost ready association of concerned parties – researchers and developers.
