Visa Europe and SatoshiPay startup presented the project, allowing to conduct automatic payments in Bitcoin. The user will be able to use Visa infrastructure to send micropayments to SatoshiPay wallet.
The aim was to develop a security way of sending small Bitcoin sums, using bank cards, explained Meinhard Benn, SatoshiPay founder.
The fact that Visa started examining Bitcoin micropayments was known last autumn. Concurrently, the company is considering the Smart Lamp project: lamps that automatically pay for electric power consumption.
