Ethereum technology that functions on the basis of programming language Solidity is now supported by Microsoft Visual Studio platform. For this purpose a decentralized application was added, created by ConsenSys.
This venture studio produces programs and decentralized applications. Offered tools are used in blockchain systems, most commonly Ethereum. Studio developments possess such characteristics as security, transparency and auditability.
Solidity is similar to JavaScript. The main goal of its creation is developing smart contracts on the basis of Ethereum.
Microsoft is an old admirer of Ethereum protocol, and in the frame of this cooperation it offers infrastructure and developer community.
ConsenSys calls Solidity a high level language for programming components of decentralized applications. It provides great tools that allow developing smart contracts for different purposes. Working with applications will be more efficient after implementing Ethereum into Microsoft Azure cloud.
The partnership will be officially announced at the conference Build 2016.
Earlier Bitcoin was called “Internet of money”, so it’s possible that Ethereum will become “Internet of business”. Within the context of such positioning and distribution of technology Microsoft’s support and signing partnership agreement is extremely important.
